The Life Sciences practice is at a pivotal stage of its growth journey, aiming to enhance its existing competencies and expand into complementary business areas. It is one of the fastest-growing units within the consulting organization, assisting some of the largest global pharmaceutical companies and most recognizable biotech firms. Over the past few years, it has pioneered advancements in digital health, cloud transformation and AI-driven automation.

As Infosys Consulting looks to build the life sciences practice and M&A capabilities in EMEA, this role will be crucial in attracting and developing top consulting talent from the industry to expand our high-performing team. You'll be at the forefront of industry consolidation, helping leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies navigate complex transactions that drive innovation and improve patient outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide strategic guidance on deal strategy, due diligence, integration, and value creation, working alongside industry experts and leveraging cutting-edge technology.

Requirements

The role

You will work with some of the major pharma companies in critical roles delivering tangible value across major transformation programs
You occupy a pivotal role of relationship manager for critical client engagements, working as a lynchpin between Client leadership, Infosys leadership and Infosys teams.
You will provide strategic leadership across programs of work successfully, meeting the business objective for our clients. This includes taking overall accountability for program delivery by understanding dynamics of ecosystem, working out the ‘art of possible' while keeping stakeholders aware of ground realities and finding workable solutions to challenges and deadlocks.
You will lead the key governance forums including Program Boards; and report program status and progress to Steering Committees
You will provide operational leadership across the program as well. This includes overall direction to practitioners in terms of project scope, execution planning, deliverables, dependencies, risk management, methodology, staffing etc. Manage cost, timelines, milestones, change control and quality during delivery
You will lead and contribute to the development of new practice service offerings and point of views in your area of expertise to expand addressable functional areas.
You will lead and coordinate business development and pre-sales activities, including proposals and responses to "Requests for Proposal" (RFPs) and "Requests for Information" (RFIs) and collaborate with other service lines and sales teams to win new business
You will facilitate the sourcing, selection and allocation of resources to the program delivery teams
You will manage internal consulting resources, 3rd party provider resources, and contract resources

Required experience and qualifications:-

At least 12+ years of deep functional expertise in one of the key areas of Life Sciences (Pharma, Med-Tech, CDMO, Consumer Health) Commercial Business along with a breadth of experience in stakeholder management, problem-solving, maturity assessments, strategy planning and delivery management
At least 12+ years of experience in consulting firms
Differentiated expertise from extensive work experience in the Life Sciences industry across major Pharma Companies with profound know-how of Life Sciences challenges and business dynamics within Pharma Commercial Landscape.
Extensive work experience in a consulting company and/or track record of working in large scale transformation programs
Posses superior client interaction skills: ability to build trusted relationships and to drive transformation programs jointly with client leadership. Ability to navigate in a complex organization structure
Good negotiation and vendor management skills
Ability to inspire, convince and to influence to gain buy-in from senior business management and stakeholders
Superior problem management skills (problem identification, structuring, resolution) and moderation skills
Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints
Ability to collaborate within Infosys and to leverage existing resources for responding to RFIs, RFPs and delivering critical programs
Experience of executing delivery using a blend of onsite resources with nearshore and offshore delivery centres
Experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting and communicating data and information for a range of audiences
Demonstrated skills in defining and executing an Agile-based design and delivery approach
Demonstrable general skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication and presentation
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
Project-related mobility/willingness to travel
