A new opportunity for a Lead Project Manager to work with a successful global leader in engineering solutions that have operated for over 100 years. A highly respected business who specialises in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) services, offering comprehensive solutions from design and project management to electrical, mechanical, and technology services.

Their in-house team ensures consistency and reliability, operating across various sectors and projects such as Power and Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Nuclear, Industrial, Food and Beverages, Transportation, and Water. A company that are proud to be known as a trusted partner for numerous blue-chip companies, for some of the biggest and most well know businesses that you would have definitely heard of before.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver multiple complex, high-value projects (£5m+) from inception to completion.

  • Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of PMs, engineers, and commercial staff.

  • Drive project success through proactive risk, cost, schedule, and change management.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project programs using suitable planning software.

  • Ensure all commercial deliverables—including variations, claims, and extensions of time—are delivered accurately and on time.

  • Facilitate compliance with all internal company procedures, NEC4 contract obligations, CDM regulations, and SHEQ standards.

  • Manage the preparation of accurate, detailed estimates and competitive tender submissions.

  • Monitor and report on project performance to clients and internal stakeholders through structured reporting.

  • Lead and contribute to design reviews and ensure cross-discipline integration.

  • Act as key liaison with clients, maintaining positive relationships and high levels of trust.

  • Support procurement and manage subcontractors through full project lifecycle.

  • Lead change evolution and control processes throughout the life of the project.

  • Support workforce planning and labour forecasting in partnership with site managers and QS teams.
