Lead Engineer – FMCG

Days Based Role – Monday - Friday 11am - 7pm

Salary: £55,000 + Pension + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Wednesbury

Benefiting from continuous improvements to all the manufacturing processes the group works within several sectors across Europe and Latin America including organisations such as hospitals, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical companies.

Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer with Supervisory Experience

  • Knowledge of a PLC Automated Environment

  • Understanding of PPM Systems within Manufacturing Budgets

    The Roles

    You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working on conveyors, hydraulic presses, industrial boilers, roller ironers, folding machines, packaging machines, basic PLC Fault Finding, inputs/outputs, inverters, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, distribution boards, electrical drawings/diagrams, gas dryers, spreading machines and project based work within a high speed automated environment.

    You will also be involved with Continuous Improvement, planning/delegating workloads, H&S, overseeing a team of up to 3 engineers, training/development.

    There is a huge amount of variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
