Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout the lab, including cleaning, ordering, discarding solutions, organizing supplies, and managing samples from storage.
  • Learn to perform monthly maintenance on laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and monitor instrumentation with minimal supervision, ensuring proper cleaning and storage after use.
  • Assist with inventory processes within the group.
  • Perform organizational tasks to support daily laboratory operations.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, including cleaning equipment and controlled rooms.
  • Work efficiently, document work clearly, and perform responsibilities accurately.
  • Participate in special projects as directed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, with various days, hours, and shifts, including additional hours as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
