We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cutting-edge facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, compliance, and efficiency of our laboratory environment.Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are up to date and adhered to, including risk assessments and control of hazardous substances.Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and testing of laboratory equipment, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.Operational Management: Manage the operational aspects of the facility, including security, IT procedures, and compliance with ISO accreditation and other regulatory requirements.Staff Induction and Training: Update and deliver facility induction packs and briefs to new staff and visitors, ensuring everyone is well-informed about safety and operational procedures.Resource Management: Collaborate with technical staff to manage research, test, and evaluation equipment, and ensure the facility is equipped with the necessary protective and specialist equipment.
