The Mass Spectrometry industry is a diverse and growing market, crucial for supplying complex and high precision analytical instrumentation to a range of scientific sectors performing bespoke analysis for a wide variety of samples and applications.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS), and associated sample preparation systems, who provide analytical solutions for clients all over the world. Due to increased business growth, they are seeking a Laboratory Scientist to join their friendly and close-knit team in Crewe.

As part of a small team, you will hold a range of responsibilities including sample receipt and preparation as well as operation and data analysis of the IRMS instrumentation for a range of sample matrices (for which you will receive full training on). Working within a fast-paced environment, you will work to tight deadlines ensuring customer projects are completed on time.

Applications are invited from Laboratory Scientists with a minimum of 12 months experience from a commercial testing laboratory. You will be confident working within a deadline driven environment and have the flexibility and enthusiasm to contribute where needed to ensure client projects are delivered as expected.

In return you will receive a competitive salary plus up to 10% pension contribution as well as flexible working options. The role is 100% site-based in Crewe, Monday to Friday with flexible start times from 8am-10am.
