Are you a Lab Technician looking for a new contract?


My client is a well-known successful branded FMCG company.


They are in urgent need of two experienced Laboratory Technicians to join the business on a fixed term contract whilst they recruit on a permanent basis.


Hours of work

Mix of both day and night shifts.

You’ll be working 6am-6pm Monday to Thursday for 4 weeks (days), then switching to 6pm-6am Monday to Thursday for 2 weeks (nights)


Salary

£30, – £32, pro rata


Reporting into the Laboratory Team Leader, 50% of your time will be spent in the Laboratory and the other 50% within Quality Assurance.


You will be responsible for

Verifying and monitoring food safety and quality for the site


Testing products to ensure they are in line with analytical and microbiological parameters
Monitoring production to ensure compliance to customer specifications and GMP are adhered to throughout production runs
Documenting and trending all analysis findings accurately
Controlling non-conforming products and raw materials to prevent accidental usage
Investigating customer complaints and reporting to facilitate corrective action

Ideally you will have a DL and car as the location is quite rural. Experience in working as a Lab Technician or in Quality Assurance within either a food or drink manufacturing environment.
