Key Account Manager – Respiratory/Allergy Drug Products

Location:North East England (Field-based)

Industry:Pharmaceuticals


We are seeking an experienced and results-drivenKey Account Managerto join our client that is focusing on innovativedrug productsin therespiratory and allergyspace. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans across theNorth East of England, driving product uptake and maintaining strong relationships with key NHS and private stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow business across designated accounts in the region, ensuring strong adoption of respiratory and allergy product lines.
  • Engage with a variety of stakeholders including consultants, specialist nurses, pharmacists, and procurement.
  • Build tailored value propositions for each account in line with local healthcare needs and formularies.
  • Develop territory business plans and collaborate closely with marketing, medical, and market access teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or account management, ideally withinrespiratory or allergy therapeutic areas.
  • Strong knowledge of theUK healthcare system, particularly the NHS structure in the North East region.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex accounts and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and travel regularly across the territory.
