Job Opportunity: Hospital-Based Band 5 Pharmacy Technician – Oxfordshire

Location: Oxfordshire
Pay: £16 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently looking for an experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join a hospital-based pharmacy team in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and wants to contribute to the effective delivery of pharmaceutical services within a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispensing and accurately checking prescriptions for hospital patients.
Providing medication advice and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.
Assisting with medicines reconciliation and ensuring accurate patient records.
Supporting the pharmacy team in ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and medication safety.
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and managing inventory.

Competitive pay: £16 - £20 per hour, depending on experience.
Full-time working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

What We Need From You:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting is desirable but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in prescription checking.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive approach to learning and adapting within a clinical setting.
