Hours: Rotating Shifts - 6am - 2.30pm and 9.30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday

Your skills / background: Administration, Physical Inventory Control, Stock Counting, Stock Adjustments, EHSQ, SAP.

As Inventory / Shift Desk Controller, you will focus on inventory control and coordinating all materials inbound and outbound from gate entrance through to exit, including weighbridge duties, driver inductions and all inbound and outbound safety documents. It will be your responsibility to ensure safe procedures are followed from the front line at all times.

This is a key role within a successful and supportive team as you operate as the pivotal link between all departments to help with the safe and efficient operational success of the site.

What your day might look like:

•    Processing all inbound and outbound transactions
•    Physical Inventory Control counting of all stock monthly and making stock adjustments as needed 
•    Raising production reworks
•    Raising the site’s indirect/direct purchase orders
•    Producing picklists, delivery notes, and keying production through SAP
•    Completing tanker loading and discharge control documentation accurately
•    Supporting the Incident Controller in completing roll call and assisting with the activation of the incident Site Emergency Plan
•    Completing Dangerous Goods Notes for hazardous despatches
•    Operating the Main Gate and access control via the intercom
•    Communicating and assisting the Production Operative team via 2-Way Radio
•    Operating the onsite weighbridge 
•    Processing HMRC Documentation for dutiable product movements
•    Assisting the Shift Manager with Driver Inductions
•    Weekly audits of loading and discharging documentation
•    Supporting our EHSQ Policies on site at all times

About you:

•    A confident self-starter and team player
•    Exceptional organisational skills 
•    Numerically accurate and competent
•    Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
•    SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential
