Internal Sales Coordinator: This leading chemical business based in Leeds is on the lookout for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

If you have a passion for customer service and sales and have an interest in life sciences, then this could be the role for you.

What can you expect?
Full-time / Permanent opportunity
Leeds City Centre - must be based within commuting distance
Hybrid working - minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
For full-time: 35 hours per week – Monday-Friday
Part-time / flexible working hours also considered

ABOUT THE ROLE - Internal Sales Coordinator:

In joining this fantastic business, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the chemical industry, its key customers/suppliers, and the innovative product range that our client offers.

As an Internal Sales Coordinator, you will be integral to the success of customer relationships, making sure that customers feel known, cared for, and well supported.

Duties include:
Inputting customer orders onto Sage/Microsoft Dynamics system.
Developing and maintaining customer relationships.
Actioning all incoming customer enquiries and providing quotations.
Comprehensively promoting the company's product range and services to all current and prospective customers.
Working in partnership with a field based External Account Manager to proactively increase sales.

ABOUT YOU:
Previous experience in B2B customer service – essential
Previous experience in a sales environment – desirable
Previous experience within the Chemicals industry – desirable
Exceptional communication – essential
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail – essential
Able to work independently and as part of a team – essential
Good IT Skills and proficient in Microsoft Office – essential
Chemistry / Life-science Degree - desirable

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Our client is a chemicals distributor based in the UK, with offices throughout Europe. They sell the building blocks of thousands of products which you'll use every day including cosmetics, beauty products, pharmaceuticals, and cleaning solutions.

Their customers come to them for market knowledge and technical support, so that they can develop the next generation of consumer products. Beyond that, they are a friendly team that work together to get things done.
