Job location: Open to primary location being based anywhere in the UK and Ireland


Responsibilities

  • Conduct Industrial Hygiene qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments
  • Conduct engineering controls/local exhaust systems evaluation, ergonomics assessments and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) evaluations.
  • Conduct EHS audits and broad EHS assessments.
  • Assist in implementing and managing Industrial Hygiene programs at client sites.
  • Prepare concise technical reports on the assessments conducted and provide recommendations to eliminate hazards or reduce workplace risk.
  • Interpret routine Industrial Hygiene and Safety requirements and regulations.
  • Assist Project Manager in coordinating, planning, and executing projects.
  • Develop business with new and existing clients.

 

Education/ Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, EHS, chemical engineering or related field.
  • Early career professionals welcome to apply. Ideally, 3-10 years of experience in Industrial Hygiene or EHS role in a manufacturing environment, consulting or corporate role.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Board Certification such as CIH/ CSP or LFOH/DipOH certification (or an intent to obtain certification within 1 year) is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong fundamentals in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
  • Ability to make decisions based on sound reasoning skills.
  • Ability to plan, implement and prioritize projects
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of professionals at client sites
  • Ability to travel upto 50% of time within the UK, Ireland and globally.
