Make your mark for patients We are looking for aGlobal Medical Learning Head who is strategic, innovative, andcollaborative to join us in our Scientific Communications, MedicalEducation & Information team, based in our headquarters inBrussels (Belgium) preferred, or Slough (UK) or Monheim (Germany)offices. About the role As the Global Medical Learning Head, youwill oversee the development and execution of global medicallearning plans, ensuring alignment with UCB’s medical strategy. Youwill work closely with regional teams to deliver impactful trainingand communications to medical professionals across multipletherapeutic areas, including neurology, immunology, and geneticdiseases. Who you’ll work with You will be part of a dynamicleadership team, collaborating with medical and operationalstakeholders to drive forward-thinking projects. Your role willreport to the Head of Scientific Communications, MedicalInformation & Medical Learning, and you will lead a diverseteam across Patient Evidence assets. What you’ll do 1. Develop andimplement global medical learning strategies in alignment withmedical objectives. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams toensure consistency in medical messaging. 3. Lead the design andexecution of innovative medical learning initiatives. 4. Manage andoptimize budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. 5.Report on progress of key objectives and project outcomes tostakeholders. 6. Support ongoing professional development forcustomer-facing employees through effective training. Interested?For this role, we’re looking for the following education,experience, and skills 1. Master’s Degree, Ph.D., or PharmDpreferred. 2. 7-10 years of experience, ideally in immunology,neurology or rare diseases. 3. Proven expertise in medicalcommunications and learning. 4. Experience leading global teams andmanaging complex projects. 5. Strong presentation, written, andverbal communication skills. 6. Willingness to travel up to 20% asrequired.
