Main duties of the job
- Manage patient bookings and cancellations, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, carers, clinicians, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry, utilizing Trust electronic systems such as Lorenzo, ERS, and Soliton Radiology Information System.
- Support the multidisciplinary team by arranging meetings, managing diaries, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Act as a key contact for communication within the team and participate actively in team briefings.

Job responsibilities
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent.
- Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations 2018 and Trust Access Policy.
- Previous experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of patient administration pathways and Referral to Treatment rules and guidelines.
- Professionalism, caring attitude, and a responsible approach to work.
Person SpecificationQualifications
- oGood standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
- oNVQ Level 2 in administration
- oVocational Level 3 in administration
Experience
- oExperience of providing a service to patients or customers
- oExperience of using electronic systems
- oExperience of Microsoft Office products
