Rates: £30-37ph (depending on experience)
Location: Private Hospital, West London

We are currently searching for an experienced ICU Pharmacist to join a private hospital based in West London. If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact in a supportive and dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Job Details:

Start Date: ASAP - Feb 2025
End Date: Estimated May 2025 (Very likely to continue, depending on service requirements)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full time (09:00 to 17:30)
Location: Private Hospital, West London
Band: 7 or Band 8+ (Subject to CV review)

Key Skills & Experience Required:

Hospital experience is essential
Prior ICU experience is required
Ability to manage ICU areas and provide expert pharmaceutical care

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Deliver clinical pharmacy services to the Adult ITU and support other areas such as surgery when needed.
Use your specialist pharmacy knowledge to manage, monitor, and review drug therapies for patients.
Provide a comprehensive pharmaceutical service including prescription monitoring, drug information, evidence-based practice, and patient counselling.
Promote pharmacy’s active involvement within the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in ward rounds, influence prescribers, and recommend appropriate treatment changes.
Assist with monitoring and implementing drug clinical guidelines and policies.
Coordinate all aspects of pharmacy input to adult intensive care prescribing.
