Job Title: HVAC Commissioning Engineer (Clean Air)
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a hardworking HVAC Commissioning Engineer in the North West of England. The role is within an industry-leading company, having operated for a number of years and earning a strong reputation within the Clean Air / Critical Air sector. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong level of technical knowledge as well as excellent hands-on experience. Our client is seeking candidates based in: Wigan, Leigh, Bolton, Manchester, Chorley, Horwich, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, St Helens, Warrington, Prescot, Kirkby, Bootle, Crosby, Formby, Southport, Preston, Blackburn, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham, Chester, Crewe, Runcorn, Widnes, Lymm, Altrincham, Stockport, Wilmslow, Winsford, Rochdale, Bury, Oldham, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Must have a successful track record working as a HVAC Commissioning Engineer within a Clean / Critical Air specialist
  • Ideally will hold CSA Grades / Eastwood Park Training
  • Fully conversant in CIBSE guidelines
  • It would be beneficial to hold the 18th Edition electrical qualification
  • Strong written and IT skills
  • Hardworking manner
  • Flexible to travel in line with company needs

    The Role:
  • Balancing of HVAC, air and water systems including CHW and LTHW systems
  • AHU balancing, audits and verification
  • Fault-finding on systems and identifying performance issues
  • Checking of flow rates and velocities
  • Validations of systems within operating theatres and pharmaceutical sites
  • Writing detailed service reports
  • Meeting with clients on site to discuss findings and required works
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service
