Position: HR Officer
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £28,000 FTE
Shift: Consider both part-time and full-time applications (Monday to Friday).

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an HR Officer to join their Human Resources team based at their site in Grimsby. This position is well-suited to an experienced HR Administrator or Assistant who is looking to take the next step in their HR career.

With over 40 years of industry leadership, our client operates state-of-the-art facilities and delivers services across the industrial, food, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values innovation, quality, and excellence, offering exposure to a varied and dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities



Act as a point of contact for HR advice and support for employees, managers, and directors.

Support a range of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee exits, grievance and disciplinary procedures, absence management, probation reviews, training and development, and performance appraisals.

Assist in managing apprentices and liaising with training providers

*

Help coordinate work experience programmes and school engagement initiatives

Key Requirements

*

Previous generalist experience in a human resources role

*

A good standard of education

*

CPP Level 3 (or equivalent) – essential

*

Working towards or completing CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) – desirable

*

Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy

*

Ability to manage confidential matters with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism
