Are you a recent graduate and not sure what to do next? Or are you someone with a passion for making a positive impact in others lives?

We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a young disabled adult based at home in Swindon. Join her team of PAs to provide her personal care and independent living. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on a young adults life.

Start Date: ASAP

Location:Swindon SN25

Shift Pattern:10h day / Around 35h per week

Rate of Pay & Benefits

Rate of pay:£16 per hour

Holidays:5.6 weeks (pro rata)

Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be provided

On-call support from client coordinator

About our Client

Our client is a determined and independent induvial, despite her physical disabilities and autism. She uses an electric wheelchair and has dynamic abilities, requiring varying levels of assistance based on her daily condition. She values routine, clear communication, and a calm environment. Our client is inspired by biomedical science and she loves intellectual conversations. She will be going to Bath University from September, where she will be studying Biomedical Science. She is really excited about this opportunity.

Our client is looking for a supportive PA who can help with driving, physical tasks, and recognising when she needs medical assistance, all while respecting her autonomy and love for learning.

I enjoy baking, drawing, playing with animals, listening to musicals (like Hamilton, ITH, Les Mis, Wicked, Matilda, Anastasia, Waitress, DEH, Six, Amelie and more) and watching shows (like B99 and Good Place and Modern Family). I am a quiet person who doesnt like swearing or shouting and loves routine and rules.

I loves puns, cheesy jokes, songs, musicals, animals, biology, science- or just learning in general (because I go on TANGENTS A LOT!!)

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody elses life. To assist our client to achieve her goals and aspirations. Therefore, this job offers the prospect of meaningful job satisfaction.

We are looking for a positive, like-minded PA to assist our client with day-to-day living and general support at home, helping her to lead as independent a life as possible. Example duties include but not limited to:

-Personal Care

-Health Care

-Social Support

-Daily Living

-Housekeeping / Domestic duties

-Commuting

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

You will need:

-Hold a Clean Automatic Driving Licence, as you will be driving the clients adapted vehicle (Essential)

-An understanding of Neurodiversity and the impact it can have on an individual

-To be physically fit, calm, patient, friendly and caring

-Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative

-A mature and responsible attitude

-Good communication skills

-To be fluent in English.

-To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
