As the Head of SYNLAB Transformation Systems, you will be pivotal in shaping and driving our continuous improvement (CI) capabilities. You will lead a team dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and quality across the organisation. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in CI methodologies and a proven track record of delivering impactful results in a complex environment. You will collaborate with clinical and corporate teams, ensuring alignment and driving sustainable improvements. Your leadership will foster a culture of growth, development, and high performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the CI team, ensuring delivery and development.
- Develop and implement CI strategies and training programmes.
- Drive quality improvement through measurement and data analysis.
- Apply CI methodologies to transformation projects.
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
- Act as an ambassador for SYNLAB, promoting its values.
- Manage stakeholder relations and progress report.
- Lead on the development of Continuous Improvement capability plan and training targets.
Qualifications
Essential
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent CI training.
- Senior operational management experience.
- Demonstrable CI experience (value stream mapping, 5S, etc.).
- Experience in complex report writing and policy development.
- Proven ability to achieve delivery targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in team leadership and development.
- Advanced data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methods.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Root cause analysis experience.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
