The Role

We’re looking for a commercially sharp, technically fluentHead of Salesto lead sales development and deal-closing activities across ourcosmetics and non-meat novel foodsverticals.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role. You’ll own warm leads, client conversations, and opportunity nurturing — and turn them into signed contracts. You’ll work closely with our CEO, technical leads, and marketing to shape go-to-market messaging and pricing and will be responsible for building and converting a high-quality sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial process from lead to close for cosmetics and novel food clients
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their product, scale-up, or innovation challenges
  • Tailor proposals and pricing strategies with internal stakeholders
  • Negotiate terms and close commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with delivery capacity and strategic goals
  • Develop account relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Track activity, pipeline and performance metrics using CRM systems
  • Provide commercial input into product/service development and marketing strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3+ years' experiencein technical B2B sales, ideally in biotech, CDMO, specialty ingredients, cosmetics, or food innovation
  • Strong understanding of thecosmetics or alternative food ingredient markets
  • Proven ability to close mid-to-high-value deals in a consultative sales environment
  • Comfortable engaging with scientists, innovation leads, and commercial stakeholders alike
  • Confident self-starter who can build credibility fast and manage deals independently
  • Experience with CRM tools and pipeline tracking
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills
