Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of MSAT to join a Biotechnology/ATMP client in the United Kingdom.


As a Head of MSAT, you will be responsible for leading the transfer of processes from development into the new GMP facility.


Your responsibilities as Head of MSAT will be:


  • Oversee and manage the transfer of manufacturing processes into a new GMP facility.
  • Lead a team of senior scientists in the manufacturing of ATMPs at the facility.
  • Coordinate the transfer of materials and processes from both the UK and externally into Ireland
  • Be the POC between department heads and senior leadership team.
  • Ensure key project milestones are met and report progress to senior stakeholders, both internal and external.


To be a successful candidate for the Head of MS&T role:


  • Minimum Masters or PhD education (Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar)
  • Extensive expertise in Bioprocessing, either Upstream or Downstream. (ATMPs preferred)
  • Experience managing tech transfers from development into GMP
