Finegreen are supporting a large healthcare organisation in the appointment of a senior medical/biomedical engineer who will be responsible for the medical engineering services and team, providing expert advice on the planning and operational delivery of medical equipment services for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all Medical Engineering Services across the organisation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, efficient, and patient-focused services within budgets set;
Work closely with Senior Managers, Heads of Department, colleagues, and external organisations to ensure that National, organisational, and Divisional objectives are achieved;
Provision of technical expertise in medical equipment testing, calibration, maintenance, repair and replacement, collaborating with senior clinical staff and procurement teams to secure the best value for the organisation, while driving change and modernisation to achieve best practice standards in Medical Engineering Services. This includes advising professionals on all aspects of medical equipment, overseeing safety alerts through the Central Alerting System, and providing expert advice on the planning and operational delivery of medical equipment services for the organisation;
