This is a role within a dynamic pharmaceutical company moving into a pre-launch setting and exciting new phase of growth who are looking for a strategic and operational leader to head up their Medical Affairs function.
This is a chance to make a tangible impact on the business, the pipeline, and ultimately, patients’ lives, especially with their rare disease pipline.
About the Role
As Head of Medical Affairs, you’ll take ownership of the UK Medical and Regulatory Affairs teams, playing a key role in driving strategy, compliance, and collaboration across the business. You'll be the go-to scientific authority, guiding cross-functional teams and bringing clarity to complex decisions.
Providing expert insight into medical strategy, brand planning, and product positioning
Acting as final signatory, ensuring materials are fully ABPI compliant
Building strong, trusted relationships with KOLs, global partners, and advisory boards
Driving launch readiness for innovative products in the pipeline whilst also managing products in the market
Mentor, lead and develop the team to achieve operational excellence
Evaluating new business and product opportunities
What You Bring:
GMC-registered physician or GPhC-registered pharmacist
Experience as a final medical signatory
A strong track record in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
First-hand experience in product launch strategy
Collaborative, inclusive leadership style with a strategic mindset
