Title: Graduate Chemist
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 DOE
Term: Permanent

SRG is exclusively partnered with a leading manufacturer of personal care products, based in Hampshire. Due to company growth and internal promotions, they are now looking for two (2) Graduate Chemists to join the team. This company has a supportive and collaborative culture, and pride themselves on internal development with some of their current Senior Development Chemists having started in the business as graduate Lab Technicians! This role would suit recent chemistry / cosmetic science graduates who have a deep interest in the personal care / skincare industry.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40hours a week, 33 days holiday

Role / Description

Formulating and developing skincare, cosmeceutical, and hair care products
Managing customer relationships
Meeting with customers in person and virtually
Creating the initial product batches in the lab
Keeping up to date with the latest trends in the industry
Taking part in social media campaigns, testing and talking about products
Keeping up to date data files - recording results and sharing findingsRequirements

Degree in Chemistry OR Cosmetic Science
Recent lab experience - either from university or industrial setting
Strong written and oral communication skills
