A unique opportunity has arisen to join a thriving £multi-billion business who are seeking a Global Procurement Manager to take strategic ownership of a newly established category area within their Global Direct Procurement whereby the successful candidate will be responsible for driving transformation and shaping the future of a greenfield category across all regions the brand covers.


You’ll be stepping into a role with true scope and autonomy whereby you’ll build the category from the ground up, harmonising processes across regions, and using data-driven insight to inform strategic decisions. As part of the Global Procurement team, you will collaborate with regional leads and senior stakeholders to deliver innovative sourcing strategies, cost modelling, and sustainability initiatives that will have global impact.

The business is open to candidates from either direct or indirect procurement backgrounds (commodity, packaging, food & beverage experience related translate well) – howver, it’s more about your skillset, strategic mindset, and potential to progress a new category area forward and make it your own.

This prestigious blue-chip firm are offering up to £70,000 + a bonus of 10% (can be exceeded). Based in West London, they offer flexible hybrid working (3 days in office).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global category strategy, driving long-term innovation and sustainability.
  • Lead cost modelling, tenders, and supplier negotiations to achieve savings and value.
  • Harmonise procurement processes and data management across multiple regions.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and deliver on performance, innovation, and collaboration goals.
  • Work closely with regional procurement teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis on a multi-million global category.


Required Experience:

  • Circa 4+ years’ strategic procurement experience.
  • Demonstrated upward career progression and impact in procurement roles.
  • Global experience not a pre-requisite but an understanding of how it works in practice is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with large data sets.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Confident yet collaborative personality, able to drive a category while working closely with others.
  • Degree qualified (CIPS or MCIPS desirable).
