A unique opportunity has arisen to join a thriving £multi-billion FMCG who are seeking a Global Procurement Manager to take strategic ownership of a newly established category area, driving transformation and shaping its future across all regions.

You’ll be stepping into a role with true scope and autonomy whereby you’ll build the category from the ground up, harmonising processes across regions, and using data-driven insight to inform strategic decisions. As part of the Global Procurement team, you will collaborate with regional leads and senior stakeholders to deliver innovative sourcing strategies, cost modelling, and sustainability initiatives that will have global impact.

If you are an ambitious Buyer, Senior Buyer, Category Manager, Procurement Manager or Sourcing Manager who has demonstrated strong career progression and is eager to step into a global role you can shape and grow, this is a great opportunity for you. The business is open to candidates from either direct or indirect procurement backgrounds – it’s more about your skillset, strategic mindset, and potential to progress than specific category expertise.

This is a career-defining opportunity within a high-performing, close-knit procurement function where you’ll enjoy global visibility, end-to-end category ownership, and the chance to make your mark in a business renowned for its brand strength and progressive approach to procurement.

This prestigious blue-chip FMCG is offering up to £70,000 + a bonus of 10% (can be exceeded). Based in West London, they offer flexible hybrid working (3 days in office).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost modelling, tenders, and supplier negotiations to achieve savings and value.
  • Harmonise procurement processes and data management across multiple regions.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and deliver on performance, innovation, and collaboration goals.
  • Work closely with regional procurement teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis on a c.£50 million global category.

Required Experience:

  • Circa 4+ years’ procurement experience (open to direct or indirect background).
  • Demonstrated upward career progression and impact in procurement roles.
  • Global experience not a pre-requisite but an understanding of how it works in practice is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with large data sets.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Confident yet collaborative personality, able to drive a category while working closely with others.
  • Degree qualified (CIPS or MCIPS desirable).
