The Global Commercial Lead – 101Tx is responsible for the global brand management of the lead Neuro Oncology therapeutic asset 101Tx and its commercial success. The primary responsibility is leading the multidisciplinary Global Commercial Team to develop a global commercial plan for the asset, including defining the business case and target markets. The position is responsible for all activities related to both product planning and product marketing including partnering with the development team to manage the asset throughout the product development, product lifecycle, prioritizing product/customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with all stakeholders to deliver a winning strategy. The role also requires working closely with regional sales and marketing to support business case for product expansion EX-USA and regional operations for execution.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Marketing
    • Develops vision, positioning and message house
    • Defines the patient journey, along with the treatment algorithm
    • Works to develop an overall upstream marketing toolkit
  • Defines business case /lead indication and target markets on a global level
  • Develop, maintain and present reporting as required
  • Works to establish the product roadmap, including the plan, organization and execution for commercial activities of the asset
  • Ensures regulatory and development strategy aligns to the market access strategy for each region by establishing the value proposition, pricing, and reimbursement for the given area
  • Collaboration and Leadership
    • Collaborates as part of a matrixed team prior to Phase 3 trials for deliverables on the assigned asset to ensure desired commercial outcomes
    • Collaborate and lead the project with Manufacturing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and integration of commercial strategies throughout the product life cycle
  • Data-driven Decision Making
    • Utilizes market research, along with competitive intelligence to make decisions regarding the asset
    • Manages the product profitability and overall commercial success
    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of commercialization efforts, providing regular performance reports to senior management
    • Monitor and act on risks and opportunities, including escalating as appropriate

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or life sciences required. Master’s degree or above preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in developing a global brand strategy in pharmaceuticals working with a cross-functional matrix teams required
  • Prior experience in managing product commercialisation, along with marketing strategy required.
  • Experience with therapeutic products and neuro oncology strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards common goals
  • Experience in radiopharmaceuticals preferred
  • Proven track record in launch strategy development and managing pre-launch activities to drive revenue and profits
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and lead stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving global market environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry required
  • Ability to conduct competitive environment analysis and understand market segments and customer needs to effectively translate into clear marketing requirements
  • Ability to advise on business case justifications for new products and improvements of the product portfolio.
  • Experience in delivering finely tuned product upstream marketing strategies
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong learning agility and a desire to gain new skills and experience
