About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to craft scalable code to lay down the foundation for the architecture of our medical devices, in alignment with regulatory requirements.

You'll work alongside a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about using technology to improve healthcare.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing backend and frontend systems compliant with FDA regulatory standards
Developing scalable, cross-platform applications to act as a bridge between devices and the cloud
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Collaborating with the development team to build high-quality, testable applications based on product and regulatory specifications
Taking the lead on projects with minimal guidance
Contributing to a collaborative environment by establishing efficient software practices

Technical Skills

Essentials

3+ years experience in similar roles
Software development, application development and cloud computing experience
Experience in architecting software and creating applications from scratch
Frontend: proficiency in languages like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Java
Backend: proficiency in languages like PHP, Python Django/Flask, Node.JS, Express.JS
Operating Systems: Windows, macOS
Databases: proficiency in databases like MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.
Familiarity with platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
Proficiency in version control systems such as Git
Knowledge of data and cloud security
Knowledge of software international standards such as IEC 62304, IEC 62366, ISO/IEC 12207, and ISO/IEC 27001, etc.

Desirable

Experience in communicating over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) (version 5.0 +)
Understanding of cloud computing modes like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.
Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and related tools like Jenkins, Azure, Docker, etc.
Experience in developing web-based application and mobile applications
Understanding of RESTful API-based architecture
Frontend: Kotlin, Swift
JavaScript Frameworks: React, AngularJS, Vue.JS, etc.
Operating Systems: Android, iOS, Linux, ChromeOS
Ability to write scripts in Linux and Windows environments (e.g., Makefiles, Bash scripting, PowerShell, etc.)
Previous hands-on expertise in projects involving Biomedical analysis
Knowledge of Hospital Management Systems integration

A good communicator - your documentation provides context, is clear, and up-to-date. If something is unclear, you'll ask for clarification.

Self-starter mindset: Ability to proactively identify and address issues and opportunities
Start-up experience preferred
High degree of self-motivation and ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy

Excellent project and time management abilities, including thorough and timely reporting
