Freelance: Managing Director, Social Impact (pharmaceutical) Freelance: Managing Director, Social Impact (pharmaceutical) We are seeking a highly driven freelance Managing Director, Integrated Communications, to join our dynamic team at Real Chemistry. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and social impact, providing counsel with a European lens. The Managing Director will be a senior leader responsible for driving the agency's strategy, positioning, and offerings for our clients. We are looking for someone proactive, hands-on, dynamic, and entrepreneurial, with a successful track record of winning new business and growing existing business. Given Real Chemistry's significant growth over recent years, the ideal candidate should be comfortable with the ambiguity of rapid innovation and expansion. What You’ll Do: Position yourself as an industry leader, networking to develop brand awareness. Leverage previous experience in a similar position within an agency environment. Demonstrate a proven track record of growing complex, multi-discipline, and integrated clients. Achieve proven success in new business and business development. Adopt an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to growing clients and revenue for the business. Exhibit strong commercial and financial acumen; having led a profitablebusiness or business vertical. Provide counsel across several existing accounts to deliver against clients' critical metrics. Act as client lead on various accounts, offering senior strategic counsel and building multi-disciplinary teams in collaboration with shared services (analytics and creative) teams, as well as SMEs. Quickly immerse in Real Chemistry offerings and methodologies to take a coordinated approach to clients and new business. Develop a 30-60-90 day plan to outline key needs and contributions; set expectations internally. Partner with the current leadership team to drive and deliver a robust strategy for the consultancy. Drive initiatives focused on enhancing social impact, ensuring that all strategies align with broader societal goals and contribute positively to communities. A solid background in a professional environment within the healthcare public relations and communications industry. A successful track record of winning new business and growing current business. Outstanding communication skills to connect with a variety of audiences. Exemplary interpersonal and listening skills; cultural sensitivity, particularly with respect to collaborating with global audiences via multiple media. Exceptional client management skills. A keen eye for operational efficiency and optimal use of resources; an aptitude for using data and metrics in decision-making; the ability to plan, monitor, and tightly manage a budget. An awareness, appreciation, and knowledge of analytics and multi-channel marketing. A genuine passion for contributing to the transformation of a consultancy operating in a constantly evolving environment and a desire to work with a high-energy leadership team that sets the highest standards of performance. Strong team-based orientation; a personality that thrives in matrixed environments and enjoys partnering with all levels of team members to achieve results. A commitment to driving social impact, with the ability to create and implement strategies that promote positive change in society.
