Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

This an exciting, newly created role, responsible for undertaking the day-to-day lead in all aspects of the Company’s financial and administrative operations, whilst undertaking analysis to ensure efficient use of financial investment.

Key Responsibilities

Management of all ledger accounting and the preparation of monthly management accounts and the financial reports to management team and external investors.
Production of payment reports and the operational management and overseeing of company bank accounts.
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and all subsequent VAT-related matters and reporting.
Responsible for leading on cashflow projections and treasury management.
Responsible for managing the ongoing Research and Development project cost tracking working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to align.
The day-to-day running of annual audit and the production of statutory accounts, with input from the external accountants.
About You

Full qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA is highly desirable.
Industry experience within pharmaceuticals, biotech or life sciences is essential.
Well-rounded financial control experience within an SME.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner and challenge cross-functionally.
