Finance Administrator

NW Total Engineering Solutions are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team. In this role you will be given the opportunity to develop your skillset working for a specialist business.

In this role you will play a key part in ensuring that all financial processes are carried out accurately and you will be a pivotal point between other key departments and our clients and customers.

The Company

NW Total Engineering Solutions designs, manufactures, and services bespoke equipment, specialising in process equipment packages. Alongside providing specialist engineering services in the Nuclear, Defence, Oil & Gas, Motorsport, Pharmaceutical and Renewable industries. They have over 120 years of experience and provide industry leading services to their portfolio of long-standing customers.

    Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (12pm finish on a Friday)

    Salary

  • £26,000 to £30,000 DOE

    Key responsibilities

  • To collate and process weekly timesheets along with preparing the monthly overtime payments for checking and submission.

  • To process purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements and prepare supplier payment runs along with resolving queries.

  • To process sales invoices updating the forecasting spreadsheet and marking projects complete in Sage.

  • Posting customer receipts.

  • To manage credit control processes to ensure timely payment of customer receipts.

  • To issue customer statements and address any related queries promptly and efficiently

  • To post bank transactions in Sage, including processing card payments over the telephone.

  • To manage and record company credit card transactions and employee expenses accurately.

  • To ensure accurate allocation of costs to the correct nominal codes in Sage

  • To collaborate with the central finance team to forecast cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, VAT reconciliations, and prepare monthly financial reports

    What you need for the role

  • A minimum of G5 in Maths & English and be proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment in a finance administrative role, undertaking a variety of tasks.

  • Excellent communication and adaptability skills

  • Attention to detail.
