Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established manufacturer of various types of industrial solutions including industrial doors. They are looking to bring on a field-based Engineer to cover Canterbury and the surrounding areas. With a competitive base salary and numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Door engineer interested in a new role.

Responsibilities

Servicing the company’s products in and around Canterbury as well as further afield when required
Fixing/maintaining a wide variety of industrial doors
Reporting to the Service Manager
Working alongside the rest of the engineering team to maintain a high level of customer service
Developing a knowledge of the company’s customer base and representing the company in the right manner when attending customer siteRequirements

The company have a preference for candidates with experience of fixing mechanical and electrical faults on industrial doors. Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to hold a full, clean driver’s license. The ideal candidate will also hold an IPAF licence alongside CSCS, SSSTS and MEWPS certification. In terms of location, you will need to be based in Canterbury or the surrounding areas due to the location of the customer base you will be servicing.
