Home Based - UK and Ireland Patch

£47,000 - £50,000 (OTE £60,000+) + Door to Door Pay + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Training + Private Medical Insurance

Excellent Opportunity for a Field Service Engineer with a background in Electronics or Mechatronics to join a global company with excellent earning potential and training.

On offer is a role working on specialist machinery with a rapidly expanding company, joining a skilled team of Service Engineers.

This company have divisions worldwide and you will play an integral part in the UK operations providing a professional maintenance servicing. They are a leading OEM and a global supplier to a range of industries providing top-of-the-range automated packaging machinery. Covering food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and confectionary sectors, the company have a full order book and are going from strength to strength.

In this role, you will travel throughout the UK and Ireland visiting client sites to conduct preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the ongoing operability of packaging machinery. You will be responsible for initial diagnosis, servicing, installation and commissioning of machinery. You will act as an ambassador for the company and represent that company at various sites. This role requires paid for stayaway at times.

This role would suit a qualified Field Service Engineer with a background in Mechatronics / Electronics looking to work on cutting edge technology. Must be flexible with stayaway.

The Role:

Servicing and maintaining machinery at client sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
Fault-finding, maintenance and servicing of automated machinery including PLC systems, pneumatic systems and PC controls.
Maximise sales opportunities providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
Home-based with UK wide and Ireland travel
Week and days-based roleThe Person:

Field Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Mobile Engineer or similar backgrounds
Have a background in Electronics or Mechatronics with experience providing maintenance services.
Confident troubleshooting and fault-finding whilst working in a professional manner.
