Title: Fermentation Operator/Lead (4 opportunities available)

Location: Worcestershire

Employment Type: Permanent

We are currently working with a global leader in animal health product manufacturing who are looking for 4 highly skilled Fermentation Operators to join their expanding team. As the Fermentation Operator, you will be responsible for running the industrial fermenters, centrifuge and freeze driers to produce dried powdered bacteria.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

Co-ordinating all stages of the production process (sterilisation, harvesting, drying, cleaning).
Monitoring of dosing pumps, filters, refrigeration plant and other process equipment.
Operation and monitoring of the steam boiler plant and freeze dryers.
To assist in sterilisation and harvest processes of fermentations.

Experience required:

A degree in a relevant scientific subject with a strong understanding of fermentation processes.
Any prior recent experience with industrial fermentation processes.
