We’re looking for a dedicated Administrator to join our busy team. If you have extensive UK and International Customer Account Management experience and are familiar with the fulfilment and execution of logistics activities, plus have a good working knowledge of the regulations for HMRC import / export compliance, we’d like to hear from you.

Reporting to the Office Manager, as Export Sales Administrator you’ll be required to:

Respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotes and process sales orders from cradle to grave.
Process equipment returned for servicing, calibration / mensuration and repair.
Arrange onsite customer visits for installation and/or training.
Maintain good customer relations and provide support where necessary.
Liaise with freight forwarders and couriers, create export documentation and compile customs documents in line with HMRC regulations.
Process international payments methods and manage distributor commissions.

To be a successful Export Sales Administrator, you must have the following qualities, skills, and experience:

Previous import / export experience, with experience working in international trade.
Knowledge of the special document requirements, customs and alternative payment options related to international trade.
Be able to communicate clearly, politely and effectively with customers, especially with a wide range of international customers.
Good knowledge of HM Customs rules and regulations pertaining to international shipping.
Proven customer service and account management experience.
Computer literate with knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and Sage Line 200 (preferable).
Be accurate and well organised with the ability to prioritise work to meet targets and deadlines.
Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
Have a positive “can do” attitude with the ability to work alone or as part of a team, adapting to new tasks and responsibilities as required.
