Expert Scientific Writer – Medical / Pharma

Contract role – 6 months, extendable

Rate = €450-550 per day (Ireland based) or £400-500pd (UK based) DOE

Location: UK based or Ireland based candidates only. Hybrid or Remote working.

NO SPONSORSHIP provided, so You MUST hold UK citizenship OR EU/EEA citizenship or hold existing full rights to work in Ireland or UK.

Role: Expert Scientific Writer for internal medical communications team of a multinational pharmaceutical organization. Responsibilities include managing and delivering high-quality medical communication projects such as publications, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide sets, satellite symposia content, congress or advisory board reports, and medical education materials for internal medical and/or clinical teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

Science degree minimum; MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred

At least 5+ years of experience in medical communications

Proven expertise in scientific writing across various medical communications deliverables

Strong command of medical/therapeutic areas for publications and materials

Ability to interpret and apply clinical data effectively

Excellent scientific knowledge and understanding of relevant content

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Exceptional communication and writing skills
