Job Title:Epidemiologist
Location:Paddington, London, UK
Contract Duration:12 months (Inside IR35)
Schedule:Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid or fully remote)
The Role:
Our client is seeking an Epidemiologist to join their team, offering epidemiology expertise for real-world studies across a range of designs, from early clinical development to post-approval. In this role, you will work with global clients, ensuring methodologically sound study designs, conducting and reviewing analyses, and supporting project leads on larger studies. We welcome full-time applicants or part-time arrangements for two individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement epidemiological methods in real-world studies, including drug safety and effectiveness
- Lead projects, ensuring data quality and scientific rigour
- Provide epidemiology input on CRF/eCRF development, feasibility assessments, and study documentation
- Contribute to protocol and report writing, manage timelines, and collaborate with senior staff on deliverables
- Engage with clients and assist in new business development as needed
Your Profile:
- Qualifications:Master's in Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 2+ years
- Skills:Strong expertise in observational study design, data analysis, and medical writing
- Experience within Oncology is desired
- Knowledge of key UK Data Sources for RWE/RWD, with experience using secondary data sources
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience reading outputs from SAS, R, or other languages is beneficial
- Highly organised, self-motivated, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
