GXPeople are working with a healthcare technology company whose focus is on expanding access to care through its FDA-cleared, point-of-care diagnostic platform in their search for a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer.
Position Overview
The Senior Electromechanical Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve FDA-regulated medical devices. Core responsibilities include analysing system performance, solving technical problems, improving manufacturing processes, and documenting technical decisions. The role also supports R&D efforts by enhancing laboratory equipment.
Key Qualifications
• MSc/MEng in Engineering (e.g., Systems, Biomedical, Mechatronics)
• 5+ years’ experience in regulated industries with quality systems (ISO 13485)
• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or Altium)
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Experience with embedded software, sensors, and electrochemical systems (desirable)
