We are currently looking for an Ecotoxicologist to join our team based in

Shardlow, Derbyshire . As a subject matter expert (SME) within the department you will provide scientific oversight and regulatory understanding to deliver the highest quality studies for our customers. You will also support our strategic development program developing new capabilities and representing the organization through external meetings and conferences.

Job Responsibilities will include:
To provide advice and guidance on the scientific, technical and regulatory conduct of studies including interpretation and reporting of results.
To perform scientific peer review of study reports and ensure compliance with current regulatory guidelines
To lead or participate in customer meetings during the life cycle of the studies
To direct continuous improvement in the scientific quality reporting and presentation of work conducted
To develop project plans that enhance capabilities in line with future regulatory requirements and scientific developments
To support customer engagement activities through partnership with the commercial team

Skills and experience
A full understanding of the regulatory requirements and the scientific techniques of Ecotoxicology studies
Experience of customer management and technical expertise in project delivery
Data interpretation skills
Exposure in the field of Endocrine studies would be preferred but not essential
Previous experience in a Study Director role or equivalent would be preferred but not essential
BSc degree in an appropriate scientific discipline
Relocation assistance may be available for this role as will a degree of flexible working.
