Bilfinger are seeking an EC&I Construction Manager to join an established team delivering an NEC 4 ECC contract. The successful candidate will have experience delivering large projects in a highly regulated environment on time and to budget, maintaining exemplary safety standards and providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager as required, ensuring the project is managed effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrating Safety Leadership, delivering the programme safely, ensuring that all EHS&Q requirements are met
  • Oversight / Assurance of project progress including timely and accurate reporting
  • Build effective project teams and manage resources ensuring adequate levels to meet programme demands and high workforce productivity is maintained throughout
  • Identify key project risks, blockers and opportunities and take action to address
  • Assess programme of work for viability, priority and required resources to maximise the success of the programme
  • Ensuring that suitable commercial control is in place and managed according to client procedures
  • Managing the performance of key suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements are applied
  • Ownership of the interrelationships across project schedules and taking actions to address risks


Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering projects in a highly regulated industry
  • HNC/HND or similar in a relevant field (preferably electrical)
  • Project Management qualification (preferred)
  • Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance as a minimum
  • Strong, demonstrable understanding of all phases of a project life cycle


Strong understanding of NEC contract management
