The Director Life Science Search& Talent Solutions is an exciting opportunity for a recruiting& business development leader who is accustomed to selling anddelivering search services at the highest levels. They will beresponsible for developing and leading our search practicethroughout Europe. The successful candidate will be comfortableworking with c-suite executives, venture capital/private equitypartners, client hiring managers, and human resource leaders todevelop and secure new search opportunities, while also providingleadership for the practice. The Opportunity - Responsible forleading and growing our retained and direct recruitment practice -80% business development / 10% high-profile search management / 10%team leadership - Grow overall practice revenue by increasing bothsearch and recruiting project opportunities with both new andestablished clients. - Lead direct and indirect reports to drivebusiness and develop career success. - Drive revenue throughpersonal attainment of new business and the execution of bothretained and contingent searches - Tirelessly drive businessdevelopment efforts across the practice and establish humanresource, executive leadership, board, private equity and venturecapital relationships - Provide Leadership and Line Management toTSP Europe - Closely partner with our Consulting and Assessment andBusiness Development teams - Proactively collaborate with other TSPand Syneos Health business leaders - Achievemonthly/quarterly/annual performance and financial goals - Updatecandidate records in ATS and client activities within Salesforce -Participate in approved industry and corporate meetings, asapplicable - Ability to travel to client meetings with anticipated20-30% travel for this role. - Maintain an open and active dialoguewith client contacts and strive to create a customized approach totheir business needs - This is a unique opportunity to take anestablished search practice, add your leadership, knowledge andexpertise, and take the practice to the next level and beyond. Thiswill include growing project-based recruitment such as RPO etc.Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalentexperience. - Proven experience in Agency recruitment or corporatetalent acquisition - Proven experience in direct placementrecruitment (including retained search experience); which will havebeen focused within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries -Proven experience of people management/leadership experience -Proven track record of business development success - Excellentorganisational, time management, communication, and interpersonalskills. - Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Officeproducts and Windows based contact management system (web-basedpreferred) - Must have the ability to demonstrate a high level ofservice delivery and do what is necessary to ensure customersatisfaction including dealing with service failures - Demonstratedependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense ofurgency about getting results - Must be able to perform a widevariety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change andadapt to varying customer needs. - The drive for self-development,the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic -Demonstrated consultative approach to selling executive searchservices; ability to “Win-the-Search.
