Avania is seeking an experienced, results-driven Director, Marketing to lead and oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies that promote our services to prospective clients. The newly created and key role of Director, Marketing will report directly to CEO and will involve the following;
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and enhance our market position within the MedTech Advisory & Clinical Development industry.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth and refine our messaging, positioning, and service offerings.
Brand Management:
Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
Digital Marketing:
Lead digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM strategies, social media, email campaigns, and digital ads to attract and engage potential clients.
Drive lead generation campaigns that nurture and convert prospects. Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives, providing them with the necessary marketing collateral, insights, and analytics to close deals.
Content Development:
Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including case studies, whitepapers, brochures, blog posts, and newsletters, to educate clients on industry trends, services, and success stories.
Event Marketing:
Plan, coordinate, and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other events to raise brand visibility and network with potential clients and partners.
Partnership Development:
Foster and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including clinical trial sites, thought leaders, and collaborators, to enhance brand presence and influence within the clinical research space.
Budget Management & ROI Tracking:
Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring that all initiatives deliver a strong return on investment (ROI). Monitor and measure the performance of marketing campaigns using relevant metrics (KPIs) to refine strategies Avania is hiring - Director, Marketing

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of marketing experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), MedTech/MedDevice, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare services industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have driven business growth in a highly competitive environment.
Strong understanding of clinical trials, MedTech/MedDevice development and the CRO industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media platforms, and email marketing.
Proficient in marketing automation tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience with lead generation, nurturing campaigns, and sales enablement strategies.
Ability to analyze and interpret marketing data to refine strategies and tactics.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Experience in managing budgets and driving cost-effective marketing initiatives.
Experience with branding and positioning in the MedTech clinical trials space.
