About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically-minded Global Statistical Lead to join partner in their oncology development team. In this pivotal individual contributor role, you'll be designing clinical development plans and will play a central role in shaping the statistical strategy across the full drug development lifecycle – from early-phase trials through to regulatory submissions.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative oncology and immuno-oncology programs with a strong focus on strategic statistical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide statistical leadership and strategic input to Clinical Development Plans (CDPs)
  • Collaborate with study-level statisticians across multiple global clinical trials (Phases I–III)
  • Lead and coordinate all statistical activities, including areas such as Biomarkers and Medical Affairs
  • Contribute to and support regulatory submission strategies and activities
  • Influence cross-functional decision-making without direct line management responsibilities
  • Work closely with clinical, regulatory, and biometrics teams to ensure statistical rigor across development
  • Apply advanced statistical methodologies including Bayesian frameworks and survival analysis


Your Background & Experience

  • PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field with at least 9 years of relevant experience
  • OR
  • Master’s degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience
  • Strong background in oncology drug development, ideally with Phase I–III trial experience
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically influence cross-functional teams and contribute to development planning
  • Expertise in regulatory submission support, including global health authorities
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical methods, particularly Bayesian statistics and time-to-event (survival) analyses
  • Experience coordinating statistical activities across clinical and scientific functions
