About The Role
Working in partnership with our client (an internationally known B2B organisation), the Website Manager will oversee the content, updates, optimisation, and the running of our client’s eight event websites. Our client’s ambition is to offer a best-in-class digital customer experience.

We are creating a Digital Centre of Excellence within the client’s pharmaceutical practice to drive digital best practices, own digital channel strategies, and grow audience engagement across all digital touchpoints.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced web manager to innovate, experiment, collaborate across channels, and develop data-driven strategies to enhance customer experience and increase engagement and conversions.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Website Manager should have solid experience in publishing website content, ensuring quality control, and maintaining brand consistency during updates. Knowledge of web design standards and user experience is essential.

You will join a team of 13 within the Digital Centre of Excellence, responsible for KPI targets like lead generation via the website. Close collaboration with SEO managers and technical skills in HTML and CSS are required.

Responsibilities include:

Creating and maintaining webpages for our client’s event websites.

Identifying opportunities for website performance improvements.

Promoting an experiment-and-test mindset for continuous innovation.

Increasing conversion rates from website visitors.

Working with digital channels to create tailored user journeys.

Recommending site structure improvements for clarity and visibility.

Ensuring website accessibility for all users.

Evaluating and recommending new web technologies.

Implementing SEO strategies to improve rankings.

Troubleshooting HTML and CSS issues.

Understanding the digital marketing ecosystem and customer journeys.

Project managing tasks and managing stakeholder expectations.

Staying updated on emerging web technologies.

Demonstrating excellent UX understanding.

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and A/B testing.

Proficiency in Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.

Translating analytics data into insights and strategies.

Excellent communication skills.

Managing multiple projects efficiently.

Willingness to attend sustainability training and incorporate sustainability into your work.

Qualifications for success:

Confidence working autonomously and with third-party agencies.

Excellent presentation skills, both written and spoken.

Ability to collaborate with client teams while maintaining a digital agency perspective.

Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is beneficial; B2B experience is essential.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a digital marketing team.
