As part of a global engineering group, our client designs bespoke industrial machinery used in production lines worldwide, supplying to the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.
The Role
As an experienced design engineer, you will join an existing team and design systems from concept to production and installation. You will design small, complex mechanical components with low tolerances, produce 2D and 3D models, and assemble drawings and component details using Autodesk Inventor. Exposure to electrical design is advantageous.
About You
You should have a good mix of the following skills and experience;

• Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
  
• Competent in the use of 2D and 3D design software (Autodesk preferred)
  
• Experience in mechanical design.
  
• A high level of commercial awareness.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
