We’re hiring: Test Technician – Medical & Drug Delivery Devices (6-month contract)

An innovative and well-regarded medical technology consultancy is looking for a Test Technician to join their Device Testing group. This is a full-time, on-site, lab-based role for an initial 6-month period — ideal for someone who’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to work on a wide variety of cutting-edge medical and drug delivery devices.

💡 You’ll work closely with internal project teams to support testing activities throughout the development lifecycle — from early R&D through to formal verification and post-market studies.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Perform mechanical, functional, and environmental testing
🔹 Assist in the delivery of testing milestones across multiple projects
🔹 Handle chemicals and pharmaceutical formulations safely
🔹 Generate and record test data to a consistently high standard
🔹 Follow established SOPs, protocols, and quality procedures

What we’re looking for:
✔ Previous lab testing experience
✔ Solid understanding of Health & Safety in a technical environment
✔ Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience
✔ Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Nice to have:
➕ Experience in regulated environments (e.g. ISO 13485, cGxP)
➕ Familiarity with physical, mechanical, or biological testing
➕ Basic Excel knowledge and documentation skills
➕ Prior experience in medical devices or consulting
