GRS are currently seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer (Electrical Bias), on a water treatment project in central Kent.

  • Immediate start date available

  • Rate: £500 per day (can facilitate outside IR-35 / Ltd Company)

  • Duration: 4 months +

    Key Responsibilities:



Carry out commissioning of LV electrical systems and MCC panels on clean water sites.

*

Complete all commissioning documentation, including functional test reports, electrical test sheets, and O&M input.

*

Liaise with the delivery, controls, and mechanical teams to ensure systems are ready for commissioning and testing.

*

Identify and resolve snags and faults during commissioning, escalating issues as required to ensure timely resolution.

*

Ensure all electrical commissioning is carried out to the correct standards and complies with health and safety procedures.

*

Travel to various UK clean water sites as required – flexibility with travel and occasional overnight stays is essential.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in electrical commissioning, ideally within the water/wastewater or process engineering sectors.

*

Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, MCCs, instrumentation, and control interfaces.

*

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

*

Competent in producing commissioning documentation and technical reports.

*

ECS/CSCS card and appropriate electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
