The Role The Commercial Team Leader oversees a team of Relationship Managers, Supply Managers, and Commercial Coordinators, ensuring effective management of commercial clients. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, mentoring staff to achieve high client management standards, and ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) product supply.
The role involves managing revenue budgets and client billings, ensuring accurate and timely charges, and including all resources and costs in quotations. The leader maintains consistency in project and account management, facilitates the introduction of new products, and manages commercial supply and sales order processing.
Additional duties include ensuring professional client communication, monitoring team performance and workload, liaising with internal functions to support schedule adherence, managing client visits, preparing meeting minutes, and following up on action points. The role also involves setting KPIs with senior management, reporting on client service performance, maintaining accurate records, and identifying new business opportunities within contract manufacturing, packaging, and commercial support.
Key Requirements Eligibility to work in the UK or a valid work permit allowing full-time employment in the UK
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or in a supply chain role
Experience managing budgets and revenue streams
