Commercial Product Manager – Pharmaceutical

Scope of the role:


You’ll be an important part of a growing and dynamic team of project managers, sales teams and lab scientists who enhance the visibility of existing products and launch new ones to the pharmaceutical market, in the rare genetic disorder space.


Role requirements:


  • Develop and maintain the strategy for current and new product launch through working closely with all related teams to manage and report any impacts.
  • Build a strong knowledge of commercial products and the various disease states they address, the patient communities they treat and develop good relations with KOL’s to further reinforce knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other commercial project leaders and marketing and brand management team to support new product launches.
  • Work closely with the Training Manager to define training needs and ensure product is represented accurately across the sales and patient networks.
  • Develop and strengthen messaging which assists the Sales team in objection handling and changes in the product landscape. Engage with the patient network to understand feedback on products, and use that insight to help shape future opportunities for the business to explore.
  • Communicating frequently with the Data and Commercial Operations teams to use data which facilitates strategic decision making.
  • Work with Labelling team, MAH partner, Regulatory, Legal and Quality teams to ensure consistency and compliance as it relates to Commercial activities. Acting as the point of contact for third-parry external partners.
  • Budget responsibility for projects, ensuring milestones are met and key objectives are delivered upon.


Your background:


  • Previous experience of commercial product management from within Life Science, preferably Pharmaceutical.
  • Strong strategic thinking coupled with a passion for bringing patient-centric products to the market through insight and collaboration.
  • Proven Project Management background, able to move projects through a lifecycle effectively and with clarity for all stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, effective influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Solutions-motivated and thrives in joined-up workspaces with an enthusiastic manner and confidence in your ability.
