Commercial Lead - Asset Performance

Home based role; based at home with travel as and when required

Permanent, Full-time, Monday - Friday 37 hours

We are looking for a dynamic professional to establish and grow our sustainable asset management services. Initially, this role will focus on expanding our refurbishment activities, with the opportunity to develop into a comprehensive asset management programme over time.

Key Responsibilities Would Include

  • Identify and secure asset management opportunities by analysing service data and targeting priority equipment and customers.
  • Create structured frameworks for asset life cycle planning, transforming reactive maintenance into preventative solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set revenue targets, growth objectives, and KPIs for the team.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, sales, and service teams, ensuring consistent knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and lead the technical sales team, supporting recruitment, on boarding, and professional development.
  • Create business cases, establish risk management processes, and develop competitive pricing strategies for asset management solutions.
  • Oversee customer engagement strategies, lead negotiations, and present technical proposals for refurbishment and asset optimisation.
  • Build strong customer relationships, gather feedback, and provide updates on project delivery and results.

General Requirements For The Role

We are looking for someone who is energetic, self motivated and curious with a sense of personal pride and motivation.

Being able to demonstrate the following attributes will also be advantageous:

  • Strong PC skills, including CRM software, pipeline management, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Salesforce for tracking and forecasting account activities.
  • Ability to sell in medium to long sales cycles, with strong understanding of financials and profitability.
  • Skilled in interpreting data and using it to drive decisions.
  • Experience with sales forecasting, goal-setting, and business/financial planning.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
